AFC Bouremouth Ladies 1 - 0 Yeovil Town Ladies

3rd placed Yeovil Town made the short trip across the boarder in flying form and looking to avenge their early season 3-0 defeat at home to the cherries.

In the abscence of manager Shaun Langrish, Niki Rowswell was handed the reigns along with coach Callum Kerrins and some wise words from chairman Neil Prince in the 'Sky Stand'.  Fortunately they had the luxury of 16 players for what turned out to be a much improved Yeovil side.  the game started brightly for the home team who dominated the opening 20 minutes. Yeovil however were resiliant and goal keeper Jodie Rice made some fine saves to deny Roe, Bell and Lourghton. the cherries appeared in control of the game twice hitting the bar and post, but it was Yeovil who threatend to break the dead lock just before the break.

A long weighted ball from Bowles found Tewkesbury on the right who made space to shoot only to drag her shot wide of goal.

After the interval the cherries pushed foward knowing that an early goal would settle the game and it was on 58 mins that whyte linked up on the flank with Roe to release Keehan into space.  Keehan with plenty of time to place her cross onto the head of Lourghton in the box. GOAL.

10 mins later Langrish saw her goal bound shot appear to be handled off the line only for the ref to deem it accidental. Goater replaced Morgan on 70mins and made an instant impact, linking up well with roe and bell in attack. With 10 mins remaining Neill replaced the injured Lourghton and had a chance to put the game to rest only to see her close range header bobble over the bar.  Yeovil made two changes and finished the game stronger but couldnt find an opportunity to level before the end.
